Tax Can be Relaxing!
- 9.30am–4.30pm, 3 July 2008
- Thistle East Midlands Airport Hotel, Derbyshire
This day was geared at independent practitioners who were both new to self-employment or who had been in business for a few years but still had queries and questions they haven’t dared ask their accountant! Even before launching into the world of self-employment, “What do I do about tax – I don’t know where to start” seems to be the statement which holds people back. This informative and reassuring training day answered everyones questions and much more besides. Michael imparted his knowledge in a humorous and thoroughly understandable manner. The feedback was such that, out of 8 questionnaires returned, 8 felt Michael had been an excellent speaker and 8 felt the course content, relative to their expectations, had been excellent.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to attend this course in the future.
Course outcomes
It is intended that at the conclusion of the programme the independent practitioner will have:
- Gained a better understanding of the legal requirements for keeping financial records
- The ability to better understand the different types of expenditure that may be claimed against tax
- An appreciation what is involved in an Inland Revenue enquiry & so be better prepared for any that may arise
